All Boomers would love to bring back the Sixties, but let's look at where we are today.

First we were called Baby Boomers and now we are Grandparent Baby Boomers. That's too much to say. Let's shorten that.

Grandparent Boomer is still too long. Grand Boomer is just too Goofy. So what's the best name? “Groomer” is just right, in fact, exactly right. Here's why it makes the most sense, because it has a natural double meaning to it.

Today, the garbage TV only talks of groomers as sex fiends and degenerates. That's par for todays attitude. But, the positive definition of "Groomer" we all grew up with still exists today. A person who is a mentor helping to develop a more positive life style in a young and developing child.

The kids love to listen to stories of how their grandparents were when they were their age. Therefore, the grandkids are being naturally Groomed to be happier and wiser every time they listen to those memories.

Grandparents will always be a powerful influence in their lives. Who can they always turn to when they need help and guidance? Grandpa and Granny. So, we've gone from Boomers to "Groomers".

Grandparent Boomers' time has arrived, we are older and wiser and have finally made it to the head of the line. And Best of all is that we have the luxury of enjoying our times with our Grandkids or any child.

As my idea came to be, I Authored the book "Boomers To Groomers": Consequently, my influences as a child were mainly Mad magazine and any an all television that I could watch in New Jersey, including the Late Show, the Late Late Show and the Late Late Show II Movies. And I still made time for School. As a result I can only say that my book has a definite point of how the generations have changed, which was my inspiration but mostly it is as funny as my mind would remember. That's saying alot.

“If we are not instrumental in the rejuvenation of the elements which can make the quality of everyone's life better, then we are not living up to the reputation that has become the icon of our generation”.
